Job Description:Â Responsible for testing, calibrating, repairing, and cleaning equipment. Execute preventative maintenance programs, data collection operations on site and testing. Involved in the evaluation of instrument performance to identify optimization and enhance opportunities. May be required to direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of department and involves working closely with other process technicians, maintenance technicians and engineers.
Qualifications:Â
- BSc. (or equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering OR BSc. in Mechanical Engineering
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation
- Working experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in the field or related area with experience in one or more of the following:
- Customer service
- Interpreting schematic drawings
- Relay logic diagrams
- PLC control programs

- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, clean and repair equipment
- Plan and schedule maintenance work with contractors and other employees

- Communicate effectively in writing or orally with clients and suppliers
- Using engineering software and equipment for computer-aided design and other complex technical tasks.
