Role Summary
As a Data Analyst/Actuarial Scientist at KVR, you will work at the intersection of technology and sustainability. You will use data modelling, analytics, and visualisation tools to uncover trends, support ESG reporting, and optimise technical service delivery (e.g., methane quantification, flare monitoring).
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse emissions data, operational efficiency metrics, and equipment diagnostics.
• Support predictive modelling and scenario analysis for methane, CO₂, and energy performance.
• Assist in developing visual dashboards and client-facing reports.
• Contribute to regional studies on air quality, leak quantification, and sustainability impact.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment with OGMP 2.0, IEAGHG frameworks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience working with large datasets or industrial analytics.
• Competent in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, Python, SQL or R.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Strong discipline, integrity and team collaboration.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and cultural awareness and sensitivity across diverse teams.
• Curiosity about energy systems, emissions and sustainability.
Desirable
• Exposure to environmental data or ESG metrics.
• Familiarity with emissions models, aerial/mapping data, or condition-based monitoring systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
