Role Summary: The Accountant will manage the financial operations of the hotel, including bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly reports.
  • Process payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations.
  • Support management with cost control and financial analysis.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or service industries.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of Trinidad & Tobago tax and payroll systems.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy and time management skills.
