Role Summary
At KVR Energy, our Applications Engineers sit at the intersection of technology, sustainability and reliability. They are the hands-on innovators who bring advanced systems to life – ensuring that KVR’s solutions for emissions management, surveillance and monitoring, inspection and cleaning and sustainability and decarbonisation perform seamlessly from field to data.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of engineering applications – from sensor and UAV deployment to data analysis and client reporting. This is an ideal opportunity for early-career engineers or technicians who want to grow into well-rounded professionals capable of bridging hardware, software and sustainability in real-world environments.
You’ll learn by doing – combining technical skill, analytical thinking and teamwork to help KVR deliver solutions that improve efficiency, extend asset life and reduce environmental impact across the Caribbean and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the installation, calibration and deployment of field systems including measurement, UAV, camera and inspection equipment.
• Assist in testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of emissions, monitoring and diagnostic technologies.
• Contribute to data validation, interpretation and visualisation to support client reporting and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical and sustainability teams to ensure seamless integration of field data into analytics and dashboards.
• Participate in the commissioning and continuous improvement of systems used for emissions measurement, remote inspection and asset surveillance.
• Document procedures, inspections and findings with accuracy and clarity for both internal and client use.
• Uphold KVR’s safety, quality and environmental standards in all field and office operations.
• Identify and propose opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability and sustainability across assigned projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills
• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
• 0–3 years’ experience in field instrumentation, data analysis or automation systems.
• Basic familiarity with sensors, controls, diagnostic tools or data analytics platforms.
• Strong technical curiosity, analytical thinking and willingness to learn multidisciplinary systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to Excel or coding tools (Python, MATLAB) an advantage.
• Integrity, teamwork and adaptability to varied environments – from workshop to client site.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and cultural awareness and sensitivity across diverse teams.

Desirable
• Exposure to sustainability, emissions or ESG-related projects.
• Experience with UAV, camera or remote sensing systems.
• Familiarity with data modelling, dashboard development or digital reporting.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as AI, robotics or machine learning.
• Field or workshop experience in maintenance, testing or systems assembly.
