Role Summary: Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort is seeking a highly organized and commercially focused Chief Purchasing Officer to manage procurement activities across the resort. The successful candidate will ensure departments receive quality goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining strong purchasing controls, reliable supplier relationships, and appropriate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of food, beverages, operating supplies, equipment, maintenance materials, and other resort requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, credit terms, and supply arrangements.
• Review purchase requests and ensure purchasing procedures and approval controls are followed.
• Coordinate with department heads to forecast purchasing requirements.
• Monitor deliveries to ensure quantities, specifications, pricing, and quality match approved orders.
• Maintain accurate supplier, quotation, purchase order, and procurement records.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational standards.
• Monitor market pricing and availability of key supplies.
• Work closely with Finance, Stores, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and other departments.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within hospitality.
  Degree, Diploma, or professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Knowledge of purchasing controls, inventory procedures, and procurement documentation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and cost-comparison skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing or inventory management systems.
