Role Summary: Le Grand Courlan Spa Resort is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the financial management and reporting requirements of the resort. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, support statutory and management reporting, and help ensure strong financial controls across hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
• Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Manage or support TIMELY accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with payroll accounting and statutory financial obligations.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenue, and departmental financial performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation and audit-ready financial records.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure adherence to established accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Provide financial information and analysis to management when required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or financial management, preferably within hospitality or a comparable service environment.
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or equivalent is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of applicable Trinidad and Tobago taxation and statutory requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
