Role Summary: Household Haven Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Attendant to support the efficient receiving, storage, organization and movement of merchandise within its warehouse operations. The successful candidate will assist with stock handling, order preparation and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Receive, unload and organize incoming merchandise.
• Assist with checking deliveries against invoices and delivery documents.
• Store products safely in their designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for collection or delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Maintain accurate stock placement and assist with inventory counts.
• Safely handle building materials, household products and other merchandise.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized and free from hazards.
• Report damaged, missing or incorrectly received merchandise.
• Follow company procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing, stock handling, inventory, retail operations or a similar role.
• Ability to safely lift and move merchandise as required.
• Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory procedures.
