Location: Aranguez, Trinidad.

 

Role Purpose: The Accounting Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of financial processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and proper documentation across transactions, records and reporting.

This role is essential in maintaining discipline and consistency within the finance function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Processing

• Process invoices, payments and receipts accurately and on time
• Maintain proper supporting documentation for all transactions
• Ensure correct coding and entry into accounting systems

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Support collections and follow-up on outstanding receivables
• Track payables and ensure timely processing
• Maintain clear and updated records

Financial Records & Reconciliation

• Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger reviews
• Maintain organised and audit-ready records
• Support month-end close processes

Administrative Discipline

• Ensure filing, documentation and records are complete and consistent
• Follow defined processes and escalate discrepancies
• Support the Finance Manager in maintaining control and structure

 

Skills & Experience:

Essential

• Background in accounting, finance or bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Desirable

• Experience using accounting software
• Exposure to structured finance environments
