Location: Black Rock, Tobago (Applicants must be residents of Tobago or willing to relocate from Trinidad)

Role Summary: Grafton Hotel is seeking experienced Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, creating memorable guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service in our bars and restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recommend drinks, upsell specials, and maintain product knowledge of the menu.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
  • Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen, and management to ensure excellent guest experiences.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certification in Bartending, Mixology, or Food & Beverage Service.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or bar setting.
  • Strong mixology skills and knowledge of classic cocktails and beverage trends.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must be reliable, well-groomed, and professional.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Knowledge of wine and spirits.
  • Creativity in developing signature cocktails.
  • Team player with a strong sense of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
