Role Summary: Grafton Hotel is seeking skilled Cooks to prepare high-quality meals that delight our guests. You will ensure food is prepared to standard, presented beautifully, and delivered on time while maintaining strict hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Assist in planning and executing menus.
  • Ensure proper portion control and food presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
  • Work with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Culinary training or certification from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Caribbean and international cuisine.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Creativity in food preparation and plating.
  • Experience with banquet or buffet service.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be flexible with shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
