Job Description: We are looking for an in-house Marketing and Sales Manager for developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and profitability of a hotel. They play a pivotal role in promoting the hotel’s brand, increasing bookings, and ensuring a consistent guest experience, also working together with the Digital Marketing team for online awareness and growth. This role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop Marketing Strategies: Suggest marketing promotions to generate sales and bookings for the hotel.
• Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities.
• Budget Oversight: Manage the marketing budget to ensure cost-effective strategies.
• Event Planning: Organize promotional events and campaigns to attract more guests.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the digital marketing team to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with hotel guests to offer service/product upsells and referrals to their friends/family. Respond to online feedback and reviews to maintain a positive brand image.
Requirements and Skills:
• Educational Background: A degree / certification in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Leadership: Experience in managing teams and collaborating across departments.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges and adapt strategies effectively.
• Customer Focus: A deep understanding of customer needs and preferences in the hospitality sector.
