Role Summary: The Housekeeper ensures that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard. The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
- Replace linens, towels, and amenities as needed.
- Report maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with laundry and special cleaning tasks as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years’ housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, procedures, and health standards.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- CSEC passes or equivalent education preferred.
- Training in housekeeping or sanitation is an asset.
