Job Vacancy: Junior Accountant

Location: Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Role Summary: Singh’s Group of Companies is seeking a detailed oriented Junior Accountant to support daily financial and administrative operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, reconciliations, cash handling, Vat/Taxes preparation, Monthly Financial Statements.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm and (2) Saturday 8.00am-12.00pm (mandatory)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Level III ACCA and studying towards completion of Certification. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Peachtree & Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle everyday situations quickly and effectively.
• Must be able to drive.
