Role Summary: Grafton Beach Resort is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to oversee all reservation operations and maximize room occupancy while delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will manage booking systems, supervise reservation activities, coordinate with various hotel departments, and ensure an efficient reservation process that enhances the overall guest experience and supports the resort’s revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all room reservations received via telephone, email, online travel agencies, and the resort’s booking channels.
  • Oversee daily reservation activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor room inventory and availability to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, and Operations to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
  • Ensure reservation records, guest profiles, and booking information are accurate and up to date.
  • Handle group bookings, corporate reservations, and special requests.
  • Resolve reservation-related inquiries, changes, cancellations, and guest concerns professionally.
  • Prepare reservation reports, occupancy forecasts, and booking analysis for management.
  • Ensure compliance with the resort’s reservation policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Train and supervise reservation staff while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel reservations or front office management.
  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and online booking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of hotel reservation procedures, room inventory management, and revenue optimization.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
