Role Summary: The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The ideal candidate should take pride in their work, maintain a high level of cleanliness, and uphold the hotel’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Replace linens, towels, and toiletries as needed.
- Restock room amenities and report missing or damaged items.
- Notify maintenance of any repairs or safety hazards.
- Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with guests.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Room Attendant or in housekeeping.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks.
- CSEC passes or equivalent level of education.
- Certification in Housekeeping or Hospitality Operations is an asset.
